MSUA – Meteor Scatter Ukraine Award
The «MSUA» award was established by the VHF committee of the Sumy subdivision «All-Ukrainian Amateur Radio League» in order to increase the activity and popularize amateur radio communications on the VHF bands.
The MSUA award is awarded for QSO’s made on the 144 MHz VHF band with amateur radio stations located in different large squares of a QTH locator (KO13, KN56, LO01, etc.) using the reflection mechanism from ionized layers of incident meteors (Meteor Scatter further MS).
QSO's made by any type of mode are counted.
To obtain the award, Ukrainian radio amateurs need to make a QSO with radio stations located in 50 different large squares of a QTH locator, including a QSO with one QTH locator in Ukraine.
To obtain the award, foreign radio amateurs need to conduct QSOs with radio stations located in 50 different large squares of a QTH locator, including a QSO with five QTH locators in Ukraine.
The award is issued electronically for free.
For radio observers (SWL), the award is issued on similar conditions.

The application must include the call sign, email address of the applicant, and DECLARATION:
“I declare that all the contacts were made by me personally from the same DXCC country and in accordance with the terms of my radio transmitting license. I accept that a breach of these rules may result in disqualification from the award program. I further accept that the decision of the award manager shall be final in all cases of dispute”.
